Taken Out of Character.

When someone says they got taken out of character, most of the time it is their character. It's just a portion of their character that is suppressed, and they don't want to acknowledge it because they're scared or prideful. don't run from people or situations, grow from them.

"He took me out of my character." No he didn't, he just pulled your real character out.

"She took me out of character." No, she did not, she just exposed your whole character.
